Respiratory - Spirometry Referrals 

People who may benefit from lung function tests can present with one of more of the following:

  • shortness of breath (at rest or on exertion)
  • reduced exercise tolerance
  • smoking history
  • wheezing, cough or chest tightness
  • family or personal history of asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, bronchiectasis or COPD
