St Vincent’s offers a dedicated First Nations Graduate Nurse Program, to facilitate the transition into nursing for First Nation and Torres Strait Islander Graduate Nurses.
Graduates are offered two 6-month rotations supported by the Graduate Nurse Program Coordinators and the Practice Development Nurses (PDNs).
The hospital has cultural mentors to further support our First Nations and Torres Strait Islander Graduate Nurses.

Step 3 - Outcome of PMCV (Allocation & Placement Service - APS)
- PMCV (Allocation & Placement Service - APS) results are released on Wednesday September 4, 2024. If you are successfully matched to St Vincent’s you will be contacted by phone within 48 hours.

To be eligible for the Enrolled Nurse Transition to Practice Program applicants must have Australian or New Zealand Citizenship or permanent residence status.
