Sue-Anne currently holds a clinical leadership position at St Vincent’s and combines this with clinical, research and teaching responsibilities as an affiliate of the University of Melbourne. As the Director of Cancer Services, Sue-Anne oversees the strategic direction and conduct of Cancer Services to ensure that we remain a leader in the cancer care of Victorians. As the Head of the Medical Oncology Department, she is responsible for the operational management, strategic direction and performance of Medical Oncology services at St Vincent’s. Sue-Anne is an independent clinical researcher with an interest in familial cancer and patient reported outcomes. She has 127 peer-reviewed publications, 53% of which are with international collaborators. She has supervised and mentored research skills of junior staff helping them to complete higher degrees through the University of Melbourne, and leads the Medical Oncology clinical trials unit at SVHM which conducts pharmaceutical and investigator-led trials, for many of which the results have been practice-changing. Sue-Anne holds a formal qualification in clinical teaching and has been actively involved in medical education at all levels throughout her career.
