Hospital interpreters are available. There is capacity to see urgent patients but direct consultation with registrar or consultants is required. Additional streamlined clinics: Haematuria Clinic This is a fast-tracked clinic for patients with any haematuria, GPs can refer directly to this clinic. This streamlined clinic is run concurrently with a flexible cystoscopy list in endoscopy. To avoid delay in booking patients in, please arrange a MSU, urine cytology and either CTIVP or renal tract ultrasound. Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms (LUTS) Clinic A multidisciplinary clinic consisting of urology team, continence nurse and physiotherapist designed to streamline patient assessment and care. Voiding flow rates, post-void bladder ultrasound and urodynamics can be performed in this clinic. Stone Clinic Expedited review for patients with urinary tract stones. Priority is given to patients with symptoms and/or stones >5mm in size. Having the state lithotripsy service at St Vincent’s allows accelerated treatment of many patients in this clinic. Urology Nurse Consultants Nurse Consultants coordinate care and urodynamics and are available to assist with patient education.
