Oncology Rehabilitation - Exercise for cancer

Oncology Rehabilitation is a multidisciplinary 8 week group program for clients following active cancer treatment or who are living with cancer. It involves twice weekly exercise and once weekly education sessions, covering a range of topics. The aim of the program is to improve physical and psychological well being and develop self-management skills in cancer survivors.

Our Classes

Oncology Rehabilitation Group (twice/week)

For cancer survivors:

Tue 11.00am-12.00pm for Exercise 

Friday 10.00am-11.00am for Education, followed by Exercise 11.00am-12.00pm

For carers:

The carer support program is available for carers of cancer survivors, sessions cover a range of topics 

Referral Information

Referrals from medical practitioners/allied health professionals can be made via the HIP referral form or by way of a medical letter from clients treating oncologist or GP

Our Location

Oncology Rehabilitation is located at Kew Community Rehabilitation Centre, St Georges Hospital, 283 Cotham Rd, Kew. The entrance to the Community Rehabilitation Centre is located on Cotham Road. 

When you arrive at the centre please present to the reception desk. The reception staff will notify the Oncology Rehabilitation team that you have arrived and provide you with further direction as required. 

 


 


Costs

There is an administrative fee of $7.00 for each attendance at the centre.
