CEED is The Victorian Centre of Excellence in Eating Disorders, it provides clinical consultation and training to Victorian public health professionals treating individuals with eating disorders.
Eating Disorders Victoria is the primary source of support, information, community education and advocacy for people with eating disorders. A great resource if you are looking for more information about eating disorders, how to get help, and the services available in your area.
The National Eating Disorders Collaboration (NEDC) brings research, expertise and evidence from leaders in the field together in one place. It's a one stop portal to make eating disorders information a lot more accessible for everyone.
Lifeline is a national charity providing all Australians experiencing a personal crisis with access to 24 hour crisis support and suicide prevention services (ph: 13 11 14).
Butterfly foundation Butterfly changes lives by providing support services, treatment and resources, delivering prevention and early intervention programs and advocating for the needs of those with eating disorders and body image issues. It also has resources for health professionals.
Eating Disorders Families Australia is a national organisation providing support, education, and advocacy services for carers and families impacted by an eating disorder.
13 Yarn is a 24/7 crisis support service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Safe Steps is a 24/7 family violence response service.
CASA is a sexual assault service which also has a crisis support phone line.
QLife offers phone and online support for the LGBTIQA+ community.
DirectLine offer alcohol and drug counselling and referrals in Victoria.
