2017-18 Research Endowment Fund 

The Research Endowment Fund (REF) is an annual competitive financial grant round to support research activity of high quality across St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne campuses.

The REF and the REF Committee are guided by the St Vincent's Director of Research and managed by its Research Facilitation Unit.

2017 ACMD Research Week 

The 2017 Aikenhead Centre for Medical Discovery Research Week will be held from Monday 7 to Friday 11 August 2017. ACMD Research Week is a celebration of research activity across the campus. The broad aims of the ACMD Research Week are to:

  • Encourage excellence in on-campus research
  • Promote interaction between clinicians and scientists on the campus
  • Provide opportunities for researchers in different disciplines (allied health,clinical, nursing and scientific) to present their work at the same forum
  • Contribute to evidence-based healthcare and highlight the range of research technologies and resources that draw the campus together
