Podiatry

Podiatrists play an important role in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of foot and lower limb conditions. In the hospital setting, podiatrists work with a team of professionals to manage foot problems such as wounds / ulcers, infections or destructive joint disorders that place individuals at risk of amputation. Podiatrists are also involved in falls prevention and the treatment of muscle / tendon pathologies. Broadly, the aim of podiatry services is to preserve / improve mobility and thereby enhance patient wellbeing.

Our Mission statement:

To enhance wellbeing is our mission,

Through coordinated care of each foot condition.

Preventing amputation is our main goal,

Caring for each person as a whole.
