Weekend/Public Holiday Speech Pathology service is available at St. Vincent’s Hospital only: 9am – 1pm.
Outpatient services
Speech Pathology Voice and Swallow Outpatient Clinic provides diagnostic assessment and short-term management of dysphonia (voice), dysphagia (swallow) and airway disorders. Sessions in clinic or via telehealth available. Outpatient Videofluoroscopy (VFSS) and Fibre-optic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) are available where required. Onward referral of patients requiring longer-term management or monitoring.
Eligibility: Patients referred must be linked in with St. Vincent’s Public Hospital Specialist Clinics e.g. Neurology/Respiratory/Ear, Nose and Throat. No catchment areas apply.
