The Podiatry department provides clinical services across all of St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne's acute, subacute, outpatient, community correctional and residential care areas.

To enhance wellbeing is our mission, through coordinated care of each foot condition. Preventing amputation is our main goal, caring for each person as a whole.

About our services:

The Podiatry Department encompasses a Manager of Podiatry, who also provides operational support to the High Risk Foot Service, Senior Podiatrists who are Co-ordinators of the High Risk Foot Service, Grade 1 and Grade 2 Podiatrists.

Many of our team hold postgraduate qualifications in wound care, management and research, as well as endorsement for scheduled medicines. The team is committed to providing evidence-based assessment and treatment of all foot conditions, and are actively involved in leading clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.

We provide clinical education and supervision to undergraduate Podiatry students.
